College Football TV Schedule 2010 On Week 8

College Football Tv Schedule The college football TV schedule 2010 for Week 8 doesn't have as much competition. The College Football Tv Schedule in the last two weeks had to compete with a baseball doubleheader, but football will have the spotlight to itself this afternoon. Thanks to the Rangers, there will be only one baseball game tonight, and by then, sports fans will be glued to the gridiron. Another string of big national showdowns are on tap, which could shatter the first BCS standings. Today, the TV schedule in Week 8 will feature major clashes in the SEC, Big 12 and Big Ten.

As usual, things start slowly in the noon slate of games, although one potential national contender will be tested. Michigan State has a trap game at Northwestern, at noon on ESPN, as the Spartans try to stay among the BCS contenders. As for former Big Ten leader Ohio State, the Buckeyes try to bounce back over Purdue on the Big Ten Network. Meanwhile, the Notre Dame-Navy rivalry resumes on CBS at the Meadowlands.

CBS then has a bigger game on the college football TV schedule at 3:30 pm. Their latest SEC showdown pits two undefeated groups of Tigers against each other, as LSU visits Auburn. Given Auburn's 65-point explosion last week, and LSU's penchant for wacky finishes, this is the clear game of Week 8.

If fans want to watch something else, they have a few options on the ESPN family. ABC is likely to feature Wisconsin vs Iowa, as the Badgers attempt to pull another upset. Regional coverage has Nebraska looking to return to form at Oklahoma State, and Georgia Tech battling Clemson.

At 7 pm, ESPN shows Alabama playing a visit to Tennessee, a year after they used a blocked kick to hold off the Vols. Over at ESPN 2, Miami and North Carolina face off at 7:30 pm. But the last big showdown on the College Football Tv Schedule is on ABC.

After NASCAR was on last week, ABC returns to their usual Saturday night of college football. This week, they have BCS No. 1 Oklahoma trying to do what past No. 1s Alabama and Ohio State could not. They both fell to top 20 ranked conference opponents on the road, and now Missouri looks to continue the trend against the Sooners.

That showdown will be pitted up against the NLCS Game 6, as the big game in sports tonight. Meanwhile, ESPN will have the last game on the schedule, as upset-minded Washington visits Arizona at 10:15 pm.

Soon enough, the College Football Tv Schedule will have Saturdays all to itself again when baseball ends. But this afternoon, the televised games will have the spotlight to themselves, and unveil some new twists to the BCS picture.

Wilson Ramos returns to major league baseball after kidnapping last fall
