Thanksgiving Football Scores - NFL And College Football Scores
Turkey and the NFL are two key ingredients to an All-American Thanksgiving Day, and in most households across the country both the television and the oven have been on since 11 am. It was an NFL tripleheader this Thanksgiving, with the Jets and the Bengals joining the usual suspect Cowboys and Lions and their erstwhile opponents this year.
The player of the day was Tom Brady who threw four TD passes and racked up a perfect quarterback rating as the Patriots offense cranked into high gear in the second half of their game at Detroit.

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots went wild in the 4th quarter of what had been a close game to toss two TD passes as the Patriots revved it up to cruise by the Lions. Brady had a total of 341 yards and four touchdowns on the day, all four in the second half. The performance earned Brady a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3 for only the second time in his career.
Kicker David Buehler of the Cowboys made a 53-yard field goal in the Cowboys loss to the Saints, and just missed a 59-yard effort at the end of the fourth quarter that would have sent the game into overtime.
Cyrus Gray of Texas A&M ran wild over the defense of the Texas Longhorns racking up 223 yards and 2 touchdown in route to the Aggies big win in Austin.
College Football Rivalry Weekend
Tomorrow kicks off 2010 college football rivalry weekend and there are several big games on tap both Friday and Saturday before we get back to the NFL action Sunday. Cam Newton and No. 2 Auburn travel to No. 9 Alabama in what could be the biggest game of the season so far. And No. 1 Oregon has to take on No. 20 Arizona in another big rivalry game. Saturday's late offers both Florida vs Florida State and Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State.
